Concept
Chocolatheca is a brand of signature chocolates from St. Petersburg, a city filled with hidden meanings and Masonic symbols, on a par with London, Rome and Paris.
Each chocolate contains symbolism and geometry, cultural codes, creative energy, aesthetics, handicraft, and high-quality ingredients in collectible packaging.
TASTE
It is based on Cacao Barry, French regional couverture chocolates, each of which is special due to a different type of cocoa bean fermentation. Each has its own unique taste.
As for the fillings, we use only natural ingredients: extracts, purées, marmalades, and jellies made from fresh berries and fruits; almond and peach marzipans; and ganache, praline and gianduia creams. We complement the fillings with biscuits, nuts and caramel.
SHAPE
Chocolatheca is focused on moulded chocolates, one of the most complex and technologically advanced confectionery trends.
Thanks to the special, densely glossy, fragile surface of Chocolatheca chocolates, their gastronomically-combined fillings and their delicate size, each chocolate, like a work of art, gives us a fleeting moment of privacy with our own thoughts and plans.
PACKAGING
In the chocolate box, we include a card, a catalogue with photographs and a detailed description of the flavour of each chocolate.
For a limited edition or a special chocolate collection, we create a unique wrapper that tells a part of our history.
The brand of the new St. Petersburg chocolate Chocolatheca has been created to match the status of the city as the gastronomic capital of Russia. The project is created by Alyona Melnikova, a food diva and the visionary behind the St. Petersburg Gourmet Days festival, and an extremely talented chocolatier Antonina Dyachkova. They crossed gastronomy with psychology, handicraft with artistic skill, and came up with gastro-sensational chocolates.
